The important aspects, did you know that each year Marine plants produce more than half of our atmosphere oxygen.

A mature tree 🌴 cleans the air by absorbing 22kg of carbon dioxide and releasing oxygen in return .

Each year, pollinators like bee's and bats help three fourth of the world's flowering plants and approximately 35 percent of the world's food crops reproduce.

Today humans extract more from the Earth than ever before the world population has double over 50 years and the per- person consumption of material is up by 15 percent since 1980.

Every Little Deed Matters

On the occassion of World Environment Day it is essential for all to realise that every little deed matters, when it comes to saving the environment. No matter how small a step you are taking to lead a greener lifestyle it does make a difference.

Last year, during the lockdown all of us must have noticed the Mother Earth  rejuvenating back to greener lands and cleaner skies.

You might have witnessed chirping birds on your balcony and pleasent weather through out the Summer and Winter season, while the human world is still seeking to resist a dangerous virus. During lockdown, our Environment took the opportunity to renew itself and heal from the wounds we left on it.

This year, the World Health Organisation has joined the hands with the United Nations. It will working be working on the United Nation decade on "Ecosystem Restoration" along with other collaborators like United Nation Environment Program (UNEP) and the Food and Agriculture Organisation of the United Nation (FAO).

The theme "Ecosystem Restoration" can be achieved through many form's like by Growing Tree's, Greening Cities, Reviving Gardens, Adopting Eco-friendly diets or cleaning  or cleaning up River's and Coasts. This is the generation that can make peace with nature.

As we celebrate 5th June, today as World Environment Day let us all come together and make this world a better place to live.

I wish you all Happy World Environment Day.
